Baramulla: The Jal Shakti Department Tangmarg is headless since December last year but the Government has not initiated any step to appoint Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE).
According to the locals, the last AEE, who was heading the department, retired in December 2022, but his replacement is yet to come. “We are suffering because we are not able to get our pressing issues resolved,” they said.
The people of Tangmarg and its adjoining areas appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, Administration to look into the matter and appoint the new AEE at Jal Shakti Department Tangmarg so that the important public works that have been hit in absence of the said officer are resumed at the earliest.
