J&K BJP workers pay tribute to PM Modi’s mother Heeraben

Jammu: Former Legislator and senior Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Shiv Dev Singh, on Sunday organized an event to pay tribute to Heeraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in Jammu.

Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Jammu -Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, besides other senior BJP leaders including Omi Khajuria, Corporators Surinder Sharma, Ashok Singh, Suraj Padha, Mohinder Bhagat was also present during the occasion.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, while paying tributes to Heeraben Modi, said that the mother of the PM provided the basic values, principles and ethics in the family.

“Such was the influence of her teachings that her one son, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is today guiding the whole world with his conscience and decisions,” he said adding that the entire nation stands with PM Modi and other family members in this hour.

“The news of the demise of PM Narendra Modi’s mother is extremely sad. There is no greater loss than losing one’s mother. I extend my deepest Condolences as it is an unbearable and irreparable loss to the nation. No one in this world can take the place of a mother. And pray to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to PM Narendra Modi and family members to bear patience in this hour of grief,” Shiv Dev Singh said while paying tributes to Heeraben Modi.

Speaking on occasion, Omi Khajuria also offered his condolences to Prime Minister Modi.

“Deeply saddened by the passing of the beloved mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. My heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister Modi and the family in this hour of grief,” he said.

Others present on the occasion include Sunita Gupta, Sureshta Devi, BDC Charman Surinder Bhagat, Kuldeep Singh Chib, Suresh Khajuria, Krishan Singhm, Surinder Singh Gilli besides hundreds of residents of Jammu North constituency.
