Peer Moin-ud-Din joins Apni Party

Srinagar: A prominent political leader, intellectual, and writer Peer Moin-ud-Din, who is the son of former J&K Minister and former J&K congress president Peer Ghiyas-ud-Din joined the Apni Party on Tuesday. He has been associated with Congress Party and PDP in the past.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir gave a warm welcome to Peer Moin-ud-Din into the Apni Party during an event organized at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

Party’s Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, and Mohammad Ather-ud-Din Bhat were also present on the occasion.

While greeting Peer Moin-ud-Din into Apni Party’s fold, Ghulam Hassan Mir said, “It is always a pleasure to welcome prominent political figures like Peer Moin-ud-Din into Apni Party. Every time political leaders of his caliber join our hands strengthens us and gives us more confidence to pursue our agenda, which is to work for the peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir.”

“The joining of new members into the Apni Party indicates that our people-friendly agenda and policies are gaining public acceptance with each passing day,” he added.
