JAMMU: Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, today greeted people on the occasion of Christmas. In his message, the CS said the teachings of Jesus Christ are based on compassion and brotherhood and continue to guide human beings toward righteousness.
Dr Mehta observed that the message of Jesus Christ is perhaps more relevant today than ever before.
He expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would help in further strengthening the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood, amity, secularism, and the traditions of pluralistic ethos for which J&K has been known for centuries.
