DC B’pora flags off players for National Yogasana Sports C’ship

BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed, on Friday, flagged off three players of the district for 3rd sub-junior and junior national Yogasana sports championship to be held at Dharav Global School Sangamner District Ahmednagar Maharashtra from Dec 27 to December 30.

While interacting with the players, Dr. Owais extended best wishes to players and asked them to show fearless energy and bring laurels to the district.

Dr. Owais said the district administration is committed to developing sports infrastructure in the district and providing every kind of sport to players to showcase their talent in various kinds of sports.

He urged the youth to stay away from drugs and get involved in sports activities to showcase their potential and talent.
