DC Kupwara administers oath to Amina Majeed

KUPWARA: The District Administration Kupwara today organized an oath-taking ceremony for newly elected members of the District Development Council (DDC) constituency Drugmulla, here.

On the occasion, the DC administered an oath to the newly elected DDC Member, Amina Majeed for assuming the charge of the DDC Constituency Drugmulla. He congratulated the DDC Member for her new assignment.

The Chairman DDC in his address welcomed the new DDC Member of the Drugmulla constituency and expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of free and fair elections in the district. 

The Vice Chairman DDC expressed his good wishes to the newly elected DDC member and said that the council along with the new entrant will work together for the development of the Kupwara district.

Amina Majeed also spoke and expressed her gratitude towards the District Administration for conducting peaceful elections in the district. She expressed her satisfaction over assuming the charge as DDC Member Drugmulla and said that the participation of women in the democratic process shows the success of women’s empowerment.

Various DDC Members and BDC Chairpersons also spoke and welcomed the DDC member Drugmulla for assuming the charge of the DDC Constituency.
