Sopore social worker awarded for highlighting issues of environ degradation
Sopore: Ajaz Ahmad Dar, a Social Worker & Member of Central Awqaf Committee Tarzoo, received an award from the Environmental Policy Group (EPG) for highlighting the issues of environmental degradation at Haigam Wetland and Wular Lake, Ramsar Sites in District Baramulla.
It is worth mentioning that Ajaz Ahmad Dar was also successful in seeking sanctions for the children’s park, widening Ningli nallah besides advocating for the Tourist Sub division at Tarzoo Sopore.
