Srinagar: Police in Pulwama today said they have arrested a person involved in stealing a motorcycle in the district.
Sharing details a police spokesman said on December 07, 2022, Police Station Litter received a written complaint from one Abid Hassan Khan, son of Mohammad Ahsan Khan of Gund Achan, stating that his motorbike (JK13C-5721) has been stolen by someone from SIDCO Industrial Estate, Lassipora.
After registering the case, many suspects were called for questioning. During investigations, one Waseem Ahmed Rather, son of Abdul Salam Rather of Tahab Bonegam, confessed his involvement in the theft, police said, adding that on his disclosure police also recovered the stolen bike. Subsequently, he was arrested and shifted to the police station where he remains in custody.
