Regional P. F. Comm visits Sgr; redresses problems of various stakeholders

SRINAGAR: The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, UT J&K and Ladakh, Rizwan Uddin, who is on a three days visit to Srinagar today visited EPFO, Regional Office, Srinagar and redressed problems of various stakeholders.

On the occasion, Nazir Ahmad Dar submitted the joint declaration forms for correction in DOB from 02/01/1959 to 02/01/1970. The Regional P. F. Commissioner-I gave the approval to correct the Date of Birth and the joint declaration was processed immediately. Another member Tajamul Islam visited the office of RO Srinagar along with a joint declaration form for updation of his father’s name in the member’s profile. The same was updated accordingly.

Besides, female member Asima Khanam visited the office for correction of her husband’s name Bilal Ahmad Jan and relationship, the same was also updated immediately. Another female member submitted her Joint Declaration form for a change of her name from Asifa Gulzar Mir to Asifa Waseem Wani and her husband’s name M M to Waseem Yousuf Wani; the same were updated on the same day.

Shabir Ahmad Mir from DPS Budgam School visited the office for his change of linked aadhaar number of other member Shabir Ahmad Mir in his profile, the same were updated after due verification of supporting documents and as per the approval given by the RPFC-I for Major changes.

EPFO is servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to the settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, facilitating stakeholders, and so on.

Considering a large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at the doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance inquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid-19 advance claims, and members’ basic details were explained with hands-on demonstration.

Later, the P F Commissioner attended a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir regarding the land for the construction of the Central Government Secretariat and Civil Service Officers institute.
