Srinagar: Unbeaten Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will play against Sreenidi Deccan FC today in Hero I-League 2022-2023 at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.

Addressing a pre-match press conference on Monday, RKFC head coach Mehraj Uddin Wadoo said Sreenidi Deccan FC is a good team. “They have lost just one game. The good thing is that they have beaten top clubs in this league. But we are more concerned about how we play tomorrow. Players are giving their best and giving good results,” Wadoo said.

Wadoo said that RKFC has remained unbeaten so far. “It is good that we have won initial matches. Every game is important for us and we are hopeful to get three more points in tomorrow’s match,” Wadoo said.

RKFC striker Nazim Babadzhanov said they were happy with the results of Hero I-League matches so far. “I feel good to play in Kashmir and that too in front of RKFC fans,” he added.

Sreenidi Deccan FC coach Carlos Vaz Pinto said it is quite tough to play against RKFC on its home ground. “They also have good players and good coaches,” he added.

The snow leopards have remained unbeaten this season so far. The high-flying Snow Leopards have had a solid start to the new season, with victories against NEROCA FC (1-0) and Rajasthan United FC (2-0), and a goalless draw against champions Gokulam Kerala FC then won against Churchill Brothers (1-0). Then the team defeated TRAU FC 3-2 on December 1.

For Tuesday’s match, adequate security and seating arrangements have been made. The match is scheduled to start at 2 pm and will also be live on several channels.
