However, in the second half, snow leopards launched a promising counter attack and managed to score two more goals and won the game 3-2. Lamine Moro was declared the man of the match.

RKFC head coach Mehraj Uddin Wadoo said the TRAU is a very good team and played very good football.

“In the first half they were leading 2-1. But in the second half, RKFC players did everything right and put every effort on the field and managed to score two more goals and win the game,” Wadoo said.

TRAU coach said the RKFC players played excellent today. “They deserved this win,” he added. He however said the weather was not favourable for TRAU.

With this result, the home side remained at the top of the table with 13 points from five games. The snow leopards have remained unbeaten this season so far.

The high-flying Snow Leopards have had a solid start to the new season, with victories against NEROCA FC (1-0) and Rajasthan United FC (2-0), and a goalless draw against champions Gokulam Kerala FC then won against Churchill Brothers (1-0).

The next game is on December 8 which will also be played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.

Meanwhile, RKFC has appointed Dr Narendra Saraf as consulting physical therapist and exercise physiologist.
