Srinagar: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a woman drug-peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from her possession.

“A police party of Police Station Handwara arrested a lady drug-peddler near ITI Gonipora. During search, around six grams of brown sugar was recovered from her possession,” police spokesman said while identified the accused as Haseena Begum, wife of Mushtaq Ahmad Wani of Gonipora Handwara.
