District Badminton Championship-2022 concludes at DPL Kulgam

Srinagar: The valedictory function of ‘District Badminton Championship-2022’ was held at DPL Kulgam in which various teams of different districts of J&K participated.

The Tournament was organised by Police on 23rd November 2022 under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme (CAP).

SSP Kulgam Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy graced the occasion as chief guest. Besides, Municipal Chairman Kulgam Muneeb Zargar DySP Hqrs Kulgam, SHO PS Kulgam, and other Police and Civil officers and officials were also present at the event.

On the occasion, SSP Kulgam said that the tournament was organized to inculcate a sense of sportsmanship and amity among the participants with the objective to provide them with a platform so that they can exhibit their talent and hone their skills.

He said more sports events will be organized by police in the coming days. He further stated that sports activities are important for personality development, positivity, good health, and a sense of achievement.

At the conclusion of the event, Prizes were distributed among the best performance holders.
