‘Constitution Day’ celebrated at Distt Court Complexes of Bla, Spn, Kup & B’pora

SRINAGAR: The District Courts today celebrated the 73rd Constitution Day by organizing a preamble reading of the Constitution of India.

At Baramulla, a function was held today at District Court Complex Baramulla under the Supervision of Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla, Mohammad Yousuf Wani to commemorate ‘Constitution Day’.

During pledge taking ceremony, the Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla said that this day motivates us to connect with the spirit of the Constitution and understand our rights and duties as a citizen.

Judicial officers, lawyers, advocates, and functionaries of the district court among other concerned functionaries witnessed their overwhelming participation at the event.

At Shopian, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian today celebrated ‘Constitution Day’ at ADR Centre District Court Complex Shopian under the Chairmanship of In- charge Chairman DLSA Shopian, Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon.

The Programme was attended by Panel Lawyers, staff members of the District court Shopian, Staff members of DLSA Shopian and Para Legal Volunteers were also present on the occasion.

The In-charge Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Shopian Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon, read out the Preamble of the Constitution and explained the aims, objectives & importance of the constitution of India.

At Kupwara, On the eve of ‘Constitution Day’, Preamble Reading ceremony was held at District Court Complex Kupwara.

The ceremony was presided over by Incharge Principal District & Sessions Judge Kupwara, Khem Raj Sharma.

The ceremony was attended by Judicial Officers and staff of the Court.

At Bandipora, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora celebrated the Constitution Day at the District Court complex Bandipora under the guidance and chairmanship of Pr. District and Session Judge, Bandipora Amit Sharma and the supervision of Secretary DLSA Bandipora, Nusrat Ali Hakak.

Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Bandipora along with Additional District Judge, Khursheed ul Islam and Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora Abdul Qayoom Mir read the preamble of the constitution of India.
