‘Conversion of in-service Police personnel as ASI(S) and SGCT (M)’ – Pre-selection tests scheduled to be conducted from Nov 28

Jammu: The pre-selection tests for the conversion of in-service Police personnel as ASI(S) and SGCT (M) are scheduled to be conducted from Nov 28.

In this regard, ADGP Coordination PHQ, J&K (Chairman Central Board) Danesh Rana has issued a notification to inform all those in-service Police personnel of J&K Police/HG, CD & SDRF who have applied for their induction/absorption into Ministerial Executive Cadre as ASI(S) and SGCT (M) that their pre-selection tests are scheduled to be conducted w-e-f 28.11.2022 simultaneously at NIELIT centers at Jammu/Srinagar as already notified can now download their admit cards from the official website of J&K Police i.e ww.jkpolice.gov.in w.e.f 25.11.2022 onwards.

Candidates are advised to download their respective admit cards and shall affix his/her latest photograph in the space provided in admit card and get it attested by the concerned DDO/Controlling officer with an official seal.

The notification further reads that the appearing candidates are advised to bring along with them their original departmental ID Cards and other credentials i.e academic, date of birth, and technical education certificates.

The candidates are further advised to follow the instructions/guidelines laid down in their respective admit cards strictly and should reach the venue as per the scheduled date and time.

The notification also reads that the dress code for all the appearing candidates shall be proper Police uniform and no candidate shall be allowed to appear in the prescribed tests without the above-mentioned documents/formalities.
