He said, “The efforts made by successive NC-led governments on job creation stand liquidated today. The youth of J&K are in dire need of jobs while the incumbents are downplaying the scenario of scathing unemployment. On one hand, the recruiting agencies are mired by inefficacy and on the other hand, no concrete steps are being taken to create alternative opportunities of employment,” adding, “The figures emanating from the govt’s own agencies are showing upwards trend in the unemployment rate in Kashmir The government’s hollow narrative of investment and opening up new job opportunities stand exposed in wake of scathing unemployment.”

He further said, “The joblessness, high inflation, and family responsibilities are putting pressure on these unemployed youth, forcing them to take extreme steps in some cases. Good governance is realistic with youth empowerment. Ours is the only party that has taken a lead in acknowledging the role of youth towards strengthening the democratic system.”
