People alleged that despite repeated calls to the fire service and police nobody reached for their help, later fire tenders from Baramulla reached but the entire residential house was destroyed by fire, and property worth lakhs of rupees was reduced to ashes.

However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident. Locals said that property worth lakhs was destroyed in the fire incident while the reason behind the blaze was yet to be ascertained.

People of the area have demanded fire station for forty villages of Narvaw as there has been many incidents of fire in which people lost their lives and property because fire tenders could not reach on time from Baramulla.
