Cong leader Imtiyaz Parray, NC political activist Noor Mohammad Bhat join Apni Party

Srinagar: Congress Party’s former district president Bandipora Imtiyaz Parray, and Senior political activist from National Conference Noor Mohammad Bhat on Thursday joined Apni Party in an event organized at the party headquarters in Church Lane Srinagar. They joined the Apni Party along with his workers and supporters.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari gave a warm welcome to the new entrants into the party fold.

Besides Imtiyaz Parray and Noor Mohammad Bhat, the new entrants included DDC member Hajin Farjeel Ahmad Dar, BDC Naid Khai Ghulam Nabi, Block President Hajin Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Block President Sadawar Sumbal Haji Abdul Rehman Mir, Block President Naid Khai Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Sarpanch Ganistan Abdul Rashid Bhat, Sarpanch Naid Khai Mehraj ud Din Mir, Sarpanch Rakh Hajan Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Ahmad Reshi Gund Jageer, Dy Sarpanch Bilal Ahmad Wani, Abdul Hameed Wani, Habibullah Sheikh, Mir Muzamil and others.

On this occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari while greeting the new entrants said, “I on behalf of the entire party leadership welcome you into the party fold; I hope your presence will strengthen the Apni Party further in your areas.”

He promised the new entrants that party leadership will always support them to serve the people.

He said, “Apni Party’s key agenda is to serve the people and I assure you that the party will be behind you when you are working to serve the masses in your respective areas.”

He advised them to build a strong bond with the people. He said, “You must always be connected with the people at the grass root level because they expect you to help them to get public issues resolved. Therefore, I would suggest you keep yourself available to the people of your areas and identify the public issues in order to bring these issues to the notice of the concerned official for quick redressal.”

Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Vice President Usman Majid, Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Additional General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District Vice President Bandipora Farooq Ahmad, General Secretary of the party’s Youth Wing Muzaffar Hussain Reshi, in charge Habba Kadal constituency Jeelani Kumar, Tariq Shah Veeri, Social Media Analyst Tariq Leo, Youth leader Ibrahim Shah, Vice President District Srinagar Mohsin Zaffar Shah, and others.
