Apni Party president Mohammad Altaf Bukhari condemned the attack.

In a statement, Bukhari said, “Saddened to hear that two non-local workers have been shot and injured in Anantnag. I wonder what the attackers want to achieve by attacking innocent migrant workers who are here to earn bread and butter for their families. I condemn this act of violence in the strongest possible terms.”
