Srinagar: Haya Muzaffer, 21, is the only female athlete from Kashmir to represent India in the UAE Alpine Slalom Championship.
Haya started skiing at the age of 7 in Gulmarg and won six gold medals in the last 2 years (state and district levels) and secured two silver medals in 2021 and 2022 in Auli Uttarakhand.
“It is my first FIS race and I am very excited and will make the most of the opportunity,” said Haya.
