Exhorting the functionaries, Shameema Firdous said, “Our mothers and sisters have historically depicted great feats of courage and determination by standing up for their rights. It goes without saying that our mothers and sisters have been the worst suffers of the discrimination and depravity resulting from the August 5, 2019 measures. Even today some of our mothers are being deliberately kept away from their sons who remain under confinement across different jails in India. I request GoI as a symbol of CBM, release such political prisoners and allow them to live a dignified life.”

In her address, Er Sabbibya Qadri said, “We have capable, sincere leadership and a legacy of service and sacrifice to bank on. The people of J&K, especially the youth have pinned high hopes on Omar Abdullah Sahab. It is our duty to strengthen the efforts of Dr Farooq Sahab and Omar Sahab.”
