Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir four fresh cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours which pushed the cumulative infection count to 4,79,215, officials informed Sunday.
They said three fresh cases were reported from the Valley while Jammu accounted for one fresh case.
In Kashmir, Srinagar reported two cases and Baramulla accounted for one; no other district reported any fresh cases today.
In Jammu division, Jammu district accounted for the lone fresh case.
Officials also informed that five Covid patients were discharged from various hospitals, including four from Kashmir and one from Jammu, in the last 24 hours after their recuperation.
They said 1,736 doses of Covid vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir till date to 2,46,15,948.
Currently there are 65 active positive cases in J&K, including 42 in Kashmir division and 23 in Jammu division. Cumulatively so far 4,74,365 infected persons have recovered and 4,785 have died – 2,433 in Kashmir and 2,352 in Jammu division.
