Army to organize free artificial limb camp at Udaan School Drugmulla

Srinagar: A free artificial limb camp will be organized by the Indian Army in association with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayta Samiti (BMVSS) at Udaan School, Drugmulla from Oct 07 to 09, 2022. 

“This will be the second such camp to be organised by the Indian Army in association with BMVSS,” said PRO (Defence) Srinagar.

“The measurements for providing free artificial limbs would be taken during the camp and the workshop would be set up in Udaan School, Drugmulla for free distribution and fixing of artificial limbs and calipers, for the beneficiaries,” the PRO said.

“In addition equipment and accessories like auxiliary crutches, wheelchairs, polio calipers, and hearing aids will also be distributed, free of cost,” he said.
