Srinagar: Peoples Conference President Sajad Gani Lone on Thursday paid rich tributes to the renowned Islamic scholar and political personality Moulana Iftikhar Hussain Ansari on his 8th death anniversary.
Lone in his tribute remembered Late Moulvi Sahib as a renowned religious scholar and a towering political leader who was committed to the service of his people and made remarkable contributions to the welfare and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Moulvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari Sahib was a towering leader who epitomized the will and sincerity to serve his people. He dedicated his life to the upliftment of the downtrodden people and empowering them to fight for their dignity and rights with impeccable will and determination. I will always remember him as a person who played an important role in my upbringing as a political leader and in facilitating me to evolve into a better human being,” Lone said in his tributary note.
