Release data on COVID-19 inoculation in J&K: Ghulam Hassan Mir
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Srinagar: Apni Party Senior Vice President and former Cabinet minister Ghulam Hassan Mir has expressed his concern over the “administrative apathy” towards the Community Information Centre (CIC) operators who are working in J&K Rural Development Department.

In a statement issued here, Ghulam Hassan Mir said, “It is painful to see Administration has been denying the rights of the CIC operators working in Rural Development Department for quite a long time. Their long pending demands that include their regularization and salary enhancement are being ignored by the concerned authorities even though they have completed all the required codal formalities and they are rightfully eligible to be regularization and salary enhancement.”

He added, “The empowered Committee of finance has already given its clearance to these posts in 2017. Then, the proposal got two times concurrences from the Finance Department, Legal Opinion from the Law department in 2017, and the Advocate General of J&K has also given his legal opinion on the matter. However, unfortunately, the matter of the regularization orders of these CIC operators have been kept in a dilemma.”

Ghulam Hassan Mir appealed to Lieutenant Governor (LG) to intervene in the matter to ensure the CIC operators get justice without any further delay.

He said, “I request LG Manoj Sinha Ji to look into the matter personally. These young and well-qualified people have been working as CIC operators in the Rural Development Department for several years. They have been working hard to serve the department. Their demands for the regularization and enhancement of their salaries are absolutely justified.”
