SRINAGAR: Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Renu Mahajan today presented a Book titled “Raj Tarangni” to Chairman, Committee for Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes of Kerala Legislative Assembly who was on a study tour to Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The token of the gift was presented to the Chairman at Legislators Hostel, Srinagar.
It is in place to mention here that same has been suggested by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory to “give a book instead of bouquet as a greeting”.
