According to a press note, the present political scenario in the area and certain party issues were discussed in the meeting. The participants agreed that it was imperative to evaluate the electoral rolls of each and every village of J&K to make sure that no eligible voter is dropped from the electoral list and no ineligible person is brought into it. Thus, a message was sent out to all the workers urging them to be vigilant to ensure the accuracy of the voter lists brought into the public domain by the election department.

The workers were told that if they find any inaccuracy or error in the electoral list, they must identify it and bring it to the notice of the election department by submitting the relevant form.

Also, the workers were told to boost their political activities and public outreach in their respective areas to ensure they were well-linked with the masses.
