The alumni meet was organised to engage and foster a strong bond between the institute, staff, and alumni, and to exchange experiences and gratitude.

Kashmir Super-50 was conceptualized in 2013 with an aim to impart expert coaching and a competitive environment to meritorious engineering aspirants from far-flung areas of Jammu & Kashmir, ensuring their admissions in IITs, NITs, and top engineering colleges.

The event was attended by 81 students out of which 14 are presently studying at NIT Srinagar. 26 alumni from the previous batch are waiting to join IITs, NITs, and other government engineering colleges across the country. Kashmir Super-50 has the distinction of sending 19 students to IITs and 40 students to NITs.

Speaking on the occasion, Major General Ajay Chandpuria, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Dagger Division appreciated the efforts of all entities involved in the smooth and effective functioning of Kashmir Super-50. He also congratulated the meritorious students for the marvelous result and motivated the present students to work harder and contribute to nation-building.

Also present during the event was Dr. Rakesh Sehgal, Director, NIT Srinagar who shared his wisdom and experience with the aspiring students of Kashmir Super-50 and guided them in the preparation and selection of various streams of engineering.
