“The Camp benefitted a total of 200 villagers with about 93 males, 78 females, and 25 children from the surrounding area, and was especially beneficial for the ladies and children. The villagers asked for an increased frequency of medical camps like this in the area,” the PRO said.

“Chuntiwari is a remote village in the Machhal Valley and is a conglomeration of a number of small villages. The nearest medical facility for some of these small villages is a minimum two-hour trek and for access to medical specialists, the villagers need to visit Kupwara And even Srinagar,” he said.
