Exhorting the delegation members to reach out to people, he said, “We have set about a greater calling to have the democratic and constitutional rights restored. We are working on multiple levels and fronts. On one hand, we are striving to have our rights restored and on the other hand, we are raising the issues confronted by our people in terms of development deficit and administrative inertia.”

“Need of the hour calls for strengthening our ranks and taking the party vision to every doorstep. Our functionaries, delegates, and workers in Jammu, Pir Panjal, and Chenab are committed and working tirelessly. We have an added responsibility of safeguarding the plural ethos of J&K. We have to work harder to protect our social fabric,” he added.

On the occasion, congress functionaries joined the party fold. Provincial president Rattan Lal Gupta s and YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan were also present. Those who joined NC include Sharief Khan, Md Rafiq Khan, Md Iqbal, Mushtaq khan, Md Shakel khan, Md Shakor khan, Taj khan, Masood Khan, Md Jameel, Sohail, Rehan Shakor, and Khalid Ahmad. They vowed to strengthen the party on grass root level in Thanamandi. The party president hoped that the joining would benefit the party.
