Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Saturday reported 185 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the number of active cases to 1,691 while no more death was reported in the UT in last 24, officials said.

Among 185 new cases, 148 are from Kashmir division while as 37 from Jammu division, they said.

They said that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir have reached to 303,719 including 299,917 recoveries and 2,432 deaths, while total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 173,585 including 170,914 recoveries and 2,350 deaths.

They further said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,691 including 1,370 from Kashmir division and 321 from Jammu division.

“Among the fresh 185 cases today, 45 are from Srinagar, 27 from Baramulla, 17 from Budgam, 05 from Pulwama 09 from Kupwara, 04 from Anantnag, 17 from Bandipora, 03 from Ganderbal, 19 from Kulgam and 02 from Shopian in Kashmir division while 37 are from Jammu division that include 23 from Jammu district, 00 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 01 from Doda, 02 from Kuthua , 03 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 07 from Ramban and 01 from Reasi,” said the officials.
