J&K AACL celebrates 75th I-Day

Srinagar: To celebrate 75 years of independence, the Azadi-ka-Amrit-Mahotsav, all the officers, and the officials from the Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (AACL) enthusiastically gathered together at the respective Jammu and Srinagar offices to mark the occasion.

At Jammu, Bharat Sigh, Secretary, AACL, presided over the ceremony and hoisted the tricolour on behalf of all the artists of J&K and the staff members of the AACL; it served as a much-lauded gesture of the JKAACL’s commitment to nation-building. In his address, Bharat Singh extended his warm greetings to all the artists and the staff members of the institution for their tireless contribution to the successful execution of the GoI’s Har-Ghar-Tiranga campaign that celebrated and commemorated 75 years of independence.

At Srinagar, Sanjeev Rana, Additional Secretary, AACL, drove the ceremony and hoisted the national flag in the esteemed presence of all the staff members. At both places, while celebrating the event, sweets, too, were served to employees.
