Distt Collector Sgr, Dir IIM Jmu finalize land for setting up IIM campus in Kashmir
SRINAGAR: Director IIM Jammu Prof B S Sahay and District Collector Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Thursday visited the different proposed sites to finalize land for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Management(IIM) off campus at Srinagar.
A team of IIM headed by the Director, IIM, Jammu, and other officials inspected various patches of land located in Shalteng, Bemina, and Panthachowk.
The DC and the IIM team, conducted the field visit of the proposed sites to ascertain the feasibility of the land and its demarcation for setting up the permanent campus of the IIM, Kashmir.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Raies Ahmad, Tehsildar Shalteng, Ishfaq Ahmad besides officers from other concerned Departments were also present on the occasion.
