In Srinagar, the largest mourning procession or Zuljana was taken out from Madin Sahib to Zadibal area in the old city. Small gatherings were also held in some other places of Srinagar including Barji Harwan, Kani Katchi and Mir Behri Dal Lake.

However, except near Abi Guzar locality, no restrictions were imposed anywhere in Srinagar today.
