Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Sunday sought adequate facilities for people on Youm-e-Ashura observance.
In a statement issued from the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha party’s senior leader and MP Baramulla Mohammad Akbar Lone stressed ensuring an adequate supply of electricity, water, and health facilities at all Imam Barghas and Muharram procession routes in all North Kashmir districts.
Lone said there is a need to set up health Centres with all medical facilities at different places to avoid any inconvenience to devotees, besides the transport facilities be made available 24×7.
“Apart from basic facilities Govt must establish helplines to ensure redressal of any kind of grievances concerning people during the period,” Lone added.
