Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah Tuesday expressed deep anguish over huge economic losses to people following the devastating flash floods triggered by a heavy downpour in Surankote areas.

Expressing concern over the losses to people, the duo asked the government to reach out to the affected with adequate relief. He also asked the government to rush revenue teams to the affected areas to ascertain the quantum of material losses to people. The duo prayed for the early revival of the affected.

Meanwhile, party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta, former MLA Javed Rana, YNC Provincial President Jammu Aijaz Jan, Additional Spokespersons Zeeshan Rana, Yashvardhan Singh, Chairperson Municipal Committee Surankote Mumtaz Bajad have also asked the administration to reach out to the people affected by weather fury.
