In their address, the duo said that NC has provided a stellar leadership both in good and bad times to the people of J&K. The party they held had written the progressive and dynamic agenda for J&K and many times reinvented itself to take on the challenges faced by its people by becoming their voice.

“Our party has grown due to its lakhs of dedicated workers and their sacrifices. Our party ranks have swelled during adversaries. The name of NC is synonymous with struggle. Attacks on our rich legacy have only strengthened our base among people. Today’s times are no different. The DDC election results and everyday joinings into our fold again put lens on our base among people. We draw our power from people, we are answerable to them only,” they said.

They said the leaders and parties, which have mushroomed in the every second alley and Mohalla of Kashmir were detached with the idea of J&K.

Among others, zone secretary Abdul Rehman Tantray, Joint Secretary Bashir Ahmed Naik, DDC member Ishtiyaq Ganaie, Block Presidents and district committee members were present in the meeting.
