Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Friday sought adequate facilities during auspicious period of Muharram ul Haram.
In a statement issued here, Ghulam Ahmad Mir laid emphasizes over ensuring adequate supply of electricity, essentials, besides timely health facilities.
Mir said there is need to set up health Centre with all medical facilities at different places to avoid any inconvenience to devotees, besides the transport facilities be made available 24×7.
Muharram is an auspicious period, apart from basic facilities Govt must establish helplines to ensure redressal of any kind of grievances concerning people during the period, Mir added.
