Weatherman predicts light rains on Wed, Thurs

Srinagar: Amid hot weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, the weatherman on Tuesday predicted light rains from tomorrow in Kashmir.

“There is a possibility of light rainfall on July 20, 21,” Deputy Director Meteorological department told media.

The weather would remain mostly cloudy for the next few days while light rain from tomorrow is also expected, he said.

He added there is no forecast of heavy rainfall, but from tomorrow the temperature is expected to plummet as the light rains would occur in Kashmir parts on Wednesday and Thursday.

The maximum temperature in Srinagar settled at 33.7 degree Celsius today.
