Mubarak Gul takes stock of facilities being provided to Amarnath Pilgrims
Interacts with devotees at Pahalgam, prays for their safety, well-being
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior leader, Mubarak Gul, on Monday visited Pahalgam to take stock of the facilities being provided to Amarnath Pilgrims.
According to the NC spokesperson, the visiting leader inquired about the well-being of the Yatris and the state of facilities being provided to them by the government.
While interacting with the pilgrims, he, according to the spokesperson, stated that the Yatra has long been the living icon of Kashmir’s syncretic culture and pluralism. “The local populace has welcomed the Yatris with open arms for centuries. Amity and communal harmony have long been the mainstay of local culture and ethos. The socio-political milieu of Kashmir has been fashioned by the teachings of great sages and saints, whose teachings stress on love and harmony,” he said.
He also prayed for the safety and well-being of Yatris.
