SRINAGAR: Director Tourism Kashmir, Dr G.N Itoo, inaugurated Summer Swimming camp for kids (Boys and Girls) at Water Sports centre Nigeen Club here today.
The swimming is being organised by Tourism department in collaboration with Swim N Survival Society-Kashmir.
Speaking during the inaugural ceremony of the camp, Dr. Itoo said that the tourism department has launched a wide range of initiatives for promotion of Tourism across Jammu and Kashmir and this event forms part of such initiatives. He added that water sports has a lot of potential in Kashmir and the department is vigorously tapping that potential by organising such events.
The camp had varied activities like Fin Swimming, Fun Race and other activities for both boys and girls who participated in the camp with great enthusiasm and interest.
