Member Parliament, DDC Chairpersons call on Lt Governor

SRINAGAR: Member Parliament, Tejasvi Surya; Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safina Baig; and Chairperson, DDC Poonch, Tazeem Akhter, besides Chairperson of Disabled-Sports Association of Jammu & Kashmir called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Tejasvi Surya, Member Parliament and National President, BJPYM along with a delegation of BJP Yuva Morch called on the Lt Governor and held discussion on a number of issues pertaining to the youth of J&K.

Safina Baig while calling on the Lt Governor put forth various issues and demands pertaining to development of Baramulla including establishment of Fire and Emergency Station at Village Nowgam, besides completion and proper functioning of PHC at Wagoora. 

Similarly, Tazeem Akhter also called on the Lt Governor and apprised him about various developmental issues of District Poonch.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of Disabled-Sports Association of Jammu Kashmir met the Lt Governor and put forth the demands pertaining to welfare of Specially-abled sports persons of J&K.

The Lt Governor while interacting with the visiting delegations and the representatives of people listened to their issues and demands patiently and assured them of appropriate redressal of the genuine demands and issues on merit.
