Secy Tribal Affairs visits Chandanwari Base Camp

SRINAGAR: Secretary Tribal Affairs, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who is also the Nodal officer of SANJY-2022 along the Pahalgam Axis, today visited Chandanwari Camp and took a detailed review of arrangements put in place in view of ongoing Holy Yatra.

During the visit, Dr. Shahid took a first-hand appraisal of the facilities at the Base camp like lodging, health care, communication network, sanitation, water supply, weather forecasting, emergency response and all other basic necessities.

On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Shahid also had a detailed meeting with camp director and other officers involved in the smooth facilitation of the holy yatra. Interacting with officers, Dr. Shahid asked them all the basic necessities should be kept available for the holy devotees for their smooth and hassle-free journey.

During the visit, he also interacted with Youth Volunteers who are actively giving their services for the smooth facilitation of holy devotees.

Among others, the Nodal officer was accompanied by Camp Director Shrine Board, Atul Gupta; Addl. Camp Director Anshu Mali; ACD Anantnag, Riyaz Ahmad Shah; Nodal Officer(ACP) Ideel Saleem; Incharge (BDO) Chandanwari, Gulzar Bin Rehman and Youth Volunteers of Mission Youth.
