Srinagar: In order to ensure smooth conduct of Yatra along the southern route, a series of meetings with various stakeholders in relation to HADR and contingencies is being held, said PRO (Defence) Srinagar.
“Accordingly, a Table Top cum Mock Exercise was conducted at Khanabal garrison under the aegis of Indian Army on June 16, 2022,” the PRO said.
“The exercise was aimed at fine-tuning and coordinating aspects of HADR by brainstorming certain anticipated situations. In attendance were representatives from all stakeholders namely Civil Administration, NDRF, SDRF, CAPF, JKP & Indian Army,” he said.
“The exercise was received with earnest fervour, wherein all agencies put forward their modus-operandi of dealing with contingencies and provided much-needed clarity on the aspects of inter-agency coordination & resource optimization for the successful conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra,” he added.
