Speak up and isolate terrorists: Sinha to people

Srinagar: Lt Governor (LG), Manoj Sinha today urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to isolate terror elements for the promotion of peace.

Addressing a function here to observe the World Environment Day, LG said: “In J&K we are witnessing another kind of pollution-terrorism, exported by our neighboring country and it is threatening our social harmony. Terrorists are targeting innocent men, women and even children. Society must speak up now; communities must come together as one entity to fight this menace.”

Stressing that terrorism has no place in our society, he called upon all the citizens to isolate terror elements and expose their brutality.

“It is the fundamental duty of every citizen towards the nation to protect and promote peace”, he said.

“Our police and security forces are fighting terror menace with restraint and fairness and saving innocent lives. Our forces will keep responding effectively and firmly to finish destructive threat of terrorism”, he added.
