Srinagar: The body of an infant was found in a rivulet in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.
Quoting the officials, news agency KNO reported that the body was found near a bridge on Yathvathur rivulet at Manigam, Qazigund today afternoon.
The body was fished out and taken to a nearby health facility for legal medical formalities, an official said.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident.
