Omar Abdullah welcomes Deen Muhammad Cheetah into party fold

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah welcomed the Prominent Gujjar leader Din Mohammad Cheetah into the party fold here at his Srinagar residence.

Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leader Mir Saifullah, Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, Dy Political Secretary to VP Mudassir Shahmiri, and Youth leader Zahid Mughal were present on the occasion.

It is pertinent to mention here that Deen Mohammad Cheetah has been active in politics for decades and has a wide-ranging experience in public service. Welcoming the new entrants, Omar hoped that the party would benefit from his experience in public life, particularly the welfare of tribals.

On the occasion, Mehraj Ud Din Cheetah also joined the party fold. They expressed complete confidence in the party leadership of the party and vowed to strengthen the underway efforts of the Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah for the restoration of abridged constitutional and democratic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
