Budgam: SHG members enrolled for skill training in ITIs

Budgam: In order to support Women SHG members associated with Rural Livelihood Mission (RLM), Skill Development Training for SHG members of District Budgam was inaugurated at ITI Budgam and ITI CharSharief today.

More than 200 SHG members will be trained at various ITIs in District Budgam, and skill-based training will be imparted to the Trainees in a phased manner.

On the inaugural today at ITI Charsharief and ITI Budgam more than 70 SHG members started their Training course in Dress Making, Data Entry Operator and Sewing Technology. At ITI Charsharief, SDM Charsharief Prince Noorul Hamid (KAS) was present at the inaugural along with District program Manager (RLM) Shineera Sajad and BPM NAGAM, BPM CHADOORA, PRINCIPAL Govt ITI Chararisharief.

In his address, SDM encouraged the Women SHG member of the Rural Livelihood Mission to involve themselves in the endeavors taken for them by the Mission for their employability. Speaking on the occasion DPM (RLM) Shineera Sajad expressed that the training on upskilling the SHG members will expand the capabilities of the members thereby increasing the possibilities of employability among the SHG members. She further said that worthy Mission Director RLM Indu Kanwal Chib is rigorously overseeing the Project Activities and adding new verticals for livelihood generation.
