Int’l wheelchair basketball player, Ishrat Akhter, to receive treatment in Mumbai

Srinagar: Keeping its mission of uplifting the society especially the specially-abled people, Human Aid Society (Baramulla) in collaboration with ADAMS Wylie Physio Rehab center Mumbai Haris and Ahmad Khan’s Charitable Trust Srinagar and AAAMINA HOSPITAL (nowgam By Pass road Srinagar) organized a event where a specially abled student Ishrat hailing from District Barmulla who represents India in Basketball was sent off for Mumbai for the treatment.

Human Aid Society along with the abovementioned organizations took the initiative and contacted an International acclaimed Physiotherapist Dr.Aijaz Ashai who (along with his team) assured that the student will be able to walk again.

Ishrat told Kashmir Images that she was unable to walk after meeting with an accident in the year 2016. “Now, I am hopeful that I will be able to walk again.”

During the event, Dr Aijaz Ashai said that they have examined the patient and will try their best to treat her so that she is able to walk again.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ex-chairman J&K Bank Mohammad Yousuf Khan who is currently the head of Haris and Ahmad Khan’s charitable Trust Srinager will bear the expenses of the treatment of the patient and has paid all the dues in advance.
