Srinagar: Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Navin Kumar Choudhary today stressed on completion of all Golden card registrations under PMJAY-SEHAT within a month.

While directing for submission of the daily report on the status of the scheme recorded on Beneficiary Identification System (BIS), Principal Secretary Health asked for speeding up the registration of the beneficiaries and said that the same should be completed by the month of June.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review the functioning of National Health Mission, J&K and State Health Agency (SHA) at the Civil Secretariat here.

 CEO SHA Muhammed Yasin Chaudhary, Director Finance Health and Medical Education Department, Special Secretary Health and Medical Education Department and other officers attended the meeting.

Navin also directed for formulating a comprehensive roadmap for saturation of 100% population so that the benefit of the flagship programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches to every person at grassroot level.

While fixing district wise targets for BIS registrations, the Principal Secretary directed for daily reporting on BIS from districts to be shared with his office on a daily basis. To speed up the registration process of beneficiaries, he also suggested involving other agencies.

He also directed CEO SHA to constitute a committee on utilization of funds received by the hospitals for infrastructure development of public hospitals.

To ensure that people get hassle free benefits of the Ayushman-SEHAT scheme, Principal Secretary Health directed for identifying top performing 25 hospitals and providing them with qualified staff.
